Daily visitors start from Nigerstrasse (km 17.5) for a short, slightly uphill hike taking approx. 30 minutes. Those who want to go for a longer hike either start from St. Zyprian (this moderately difficult hike takes approx. 1½ hours) or from Nigerpass (via Hanicker Schwaige) to arrive here in approx. 3 hours. If you want to return to the starting point, simply take the hiking bus (stop directly at Nigerstrasse – km 17.5).
For our house guests there is a transfer service upon arrival and departure. Upon arrival our guests are picked up at the parking space at Nigerstrasse (km 17.5). Upon departure they are transferred back to that parking space.
For organizational reasons you should arrive at the parking space before 11.00 am or after 4.00 pm.
If you arrive around midday, please take a leisurely hike to our hut (approx. 30 minutes). Your luggage will be picked up later.
